3rd Grade Math Games For Kids App Reviews

My kids love Splash math. The drills help them hone a needed skill and give them practice outside of classwork and homework. Will continue to order splash math till they reach middle school.

My kids enjoy "playing" the math games and earning new sea creatures for their tank. They actually ask to play splash math and work on learning their multiplication tables at the same time. Great program.

My daughter has been using Splash Math the last 2 years. Its great because it allows her to get ahead of the game. She can reinforce what she is currently learning or learn new concepts before they are even taught in school. Plus, its really easy to use.

The problems within the app are grade appropriate. The motivators to get kids to play - buying the fish items is very helpful. Also as a parent of two it is great that separate profiles can be made. The parent feedback via email is great - time and mastery of levels are very helpful. I would like to see word problems included in the app.

This program has been integral in keeping my kids engaged in math in a fun way during school breaks and long car trips! Fun, versatile and great for many age ranges.

I homeschool my two daughters (ages 9 & 7), & we bought the Splash Math levels 1st grade & 4th grade to practice daily. Sometimes they use the timed math fact practice feature & sometimes they work through the lessons. It is definitely supplemental as it doesnt have a teaching component. But I like that it is aligned with what they are already learning in our math program. My favorite part is the weekly email about my students usage. Its a great tool to check on their progress.

My son loves practicing with splash math and it really has improved his speed and problem solving abilities. Highly recommend .

Not sure what happened, they updated the app a few months ago, not long after we paid a good chunk of money for the "5 Grades Lifetime” in-app purchase. My son hates it now. He’s a power user, and it gets repetitious, the look feels childish, and the reward system no longer does it for him (he’s 7 years old easily doing 3-4th grade math, so if it feels childish it probably is). I was hoping it would grow with him, but they need to invest a lot more into the app and not simply reskin it for each grade. Perhaps that’s not what they’re doing but it feels that way. It doesn’t appear to evolve and challenge him. I told Splash math this, but I guess there’s not much they can do having just re-imagined it. Meh, sad at throwing money out the window.

We like that there is a fun Jungle to collect items. Though it is hard to locate this section initially since it is in the fact area. Wish there was even more to do. There are a lot of option though beyond facts. Glad to see time and money as part of it. I really like that I get an email update so I can monitor progress. This really helps keep it a top priority when the child wants to use the iPad.

Use this for my 1st and 3rd grader this past school year and plan to use for the summer break. They dont love using it but will tolerate it. I ask for them to give me 20 minutes a day. It has definitely helped their grades. It teaches without a teacher physically present. I really like the weekly email that shows their progress. I share this with them as well.

We love Splash math! I dont like my kids to play mindless games in the iPad so Im quite picky about what they do on it. Splash is the one app they ask to "play". I know they are learning while they are having fun. So glad we found it.

My daughter loves this app. It helps her learn the different areas of math but it doesnt make it seem like learning. She plays it just like it was any other game on the iPad. She really likes to get a head start on the next lesson in school by using this app before they start he lesson in school. I highly recommend this app to not only kids who may need help in math but to all kids.

My son has notably increased his acumen with math skills after using this app consistently. Great content and nice reward system and feedback to keep him interested.

Splash Math has been great practice for my 3rd grader. She has really gotten fast with all of her math facts and has fun doing it. Never is a chore to practice.

Both my K and 4th grader love splash math! Well worth $$. On level and great learning apps where they dont even know they are learning! Great app to help kids review their math knowledge--daily prep or summer vaca review!

My son has been struggling in math and this has been the perfect reinforcement tool for him. He loves the under water aquarium incentives and the forum for choosing math helps. I had originally purchased only one great but then came back later to purchase three more grades. I will probably purchase this product for my other children.

This has been a very worthwhile app. My 8 year old uses it as often as she can and it makes math fun for her.

Love the new features and love the way both my daughters love math now!

It gets a bit repetitive, but my kids really enjoy using this app to review.
